Frequently asked questions
If you have a question that is not on here please contact us and we'll be happy to help.
What to Expect at Your First Appointment
Initial Consultation: Discuss your medical history, symptoms, and any concerns.
Physical Assessment: Your physiotherapist will assess your posture, movement, and any areas of pain or discomfort.
Diagnosis Explanation: You’ll receive a clear explanation of your condition and the likely cause of your symptoms.
Personalised Treatment Plan: Based on your assessment, a treatment plan will be developed, which may include exercises, manual therapy, and lifestyle advice.
Ongoing Care: Your treatment plan will evolve as you progress, with regular reviews and adjustments.
What should I wear?
We suggest wearing comfortable, flexible clothing that allows easy access to the area we're assessing or treating. This helps us carry out a thorough examination and provide hands-on treatment while keeping you comfortable.
For lower back, hip, or leg concerns: Please wear or bring a pair of shorts.
For neck, shoulder, or arm issues: A loose-fitting top or vest with a wide neckline works best.
Choosing the right clothing helps us deliver the best possible care during your session. If you're unsure what to bring, just ask—we’re happy to advise!
What should I bring?
Any Relevant Medical Documents: If you have previous medical records, X-rays, MRIs, or other scans related to your condition, please bring them with you.
If your physiotherapist believes further investigation is needed, we can arrange referrals to trusted local private clinics for X-rays, MRIs, or other diagnostic tests. We'll keep you informed and ensure the process is as smooth as possible.
List of Medications: If you're currently taking any medications, let us know so we can take them into account when planning your care.
