Private Healthcare and Insurance Information

At Sports Physio Fife, we are pleased to offer physiotherapy services for patients with private healthcare insurance. We work with leading insurers, including WPA, Aviva, AXA, and other private health providers, to help you access the care you need.

Insurance Providers
We are registered with WPA, Aviva, AXA, and other major health insurers (ask for more details). If you have health insurance, we can directly liaise with your insurer to arrange payment for your treatment, provided your policy covers physiotherapy services.

Excess Payments
If your policy includes an excess (the amount you pay before your insurance kicks in), you’ll be required to pay this excess amount directly to us at the time of treatment. The remainder of your session fees will be covered by your insurer, depending on your coverage.

Non-Authorization
If your insurer has not authorized your treatment or if your policy does not cover physiotherapy, you will be responsible for the full cost of your treatment. In such cases, we will discuss the fees with you beforehand and provide receipts for your records.

Receipt Provision
We can provide detailed receipts for each treatment session. These receipts can be used for claiming back fees or for your records if required by your insurer.

Important Notes:

It is your responsibility to confirm your coverage with your insurance provider before attending your first appointment.

Insurance Authorization: Some insurance companies require prior approval for physiotherapy treatment. If this is the case, please ensure you have received authorization before your first visit.

If for any reason the insurer does not cover the full treatment cost or denies authorization, the remaining balance is your responsibility. Payment is due at the time of service.
